How we use iDempiere to Track Financials
The iDempiere community financials are tracked using iDempiere. The implementation is quick and easy. Here are the summary steps:
- Created a new client with the default chart of accounts
- Created new bank accounts
- Created Charge records for common expenses
- Use the Payment window to code (via Charge) cash movements
- Use GL Journals for EUR to USD adjustments
- Use Bank/Cash Statement to reconcile with Paypal monthly
- Use the Financial Report window to produce a report named ‘Public Report’ (see below)
